Reuters--

Charles Bronson, the grim-faced tough guy who built a European following before making his mark in the United States with action films including the "Death Wish" series, died Saturday of pneumonia. He was 81. The actor died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with his wife at his bedside, publicist Lori Jonas said.

My favorite was "Mr. Majestyk" filmed in and around Rocky Ford, Colorado...

KT - I'm happy that the Europeans saw something in some of our stars such as Charles Bronson and Clint Eastwood before they caught our attention. But I will never forgive the French for making Jerry Lewis a star!

Eaglesfan - My favorite Charles Bronson film is The Mechanic with Jan-Michael Vincent and Keenan Wynn. The car chase scene on the winding coastal roads of Italy was one of the first of its' kind. And that final setup surprise at the end is a classic!

Thanks for the news KT, I didn't know Charles Bronson had died, see what I miss when I am at work and school! I think I need another vacation. I loved all his movies, QQ I also grew up watching his movies we must be around the same age! Darlene
