Default Canadian Inmates Give To Tsunami Victims

Inmates incarcerated in the Mountain Prison, a federal prison in BC Canada, have each donated a days pay to the victims of the Tsunami in southeast Asia.

The inmates receive $6 a day and they were able to raise just over $2000 for the Canadian Red Cross.

Who says hearts don't beat behind the walls!

Isn't it a good feeling to know that we write prisoners to brighten their days and help them, and then they come together to help disaster efforts like this? Kind of like "Pay It Forward." Anyone seen that movie?

That is cool. They say that it is better to give than to receive, so I hope those Canadian prisoners are experiencing a warm feeling, in their hearts, knowing that that have contributed to this humane cause.
