Anyone ever call any of the Texas prisons to check on a PP who has basically dropped off the map. My longtime PP who always writes two to three times a week has not written in over two weeks, I have still consistently written but have not heard a thing. I just wanted to know if anyone has called and who I would call to check on his status. Thanks everyone!

All inmates are hooked up to a main system for informantion,, by calling Huntsville ,, covers the state of TX. Or call his prison direct ,, they will at least state if he is in the main flow.

You can phone the prison direct and speak to the wardens office and they may or may not provide you with info. Usually they only provide info if you are on the visitors list.

However, you can phone the prison and ask for the chaplin and explain your situation and ask could he please let your friend know you are concerned. And they will ;-)

I have a PP , in Gatesville, and tell me that most of women in there once they get letters wiill write back as soon as they can, my other PP in Florida BCI, tell me that there are women who would love to get get a letter.

There was a lockdown in parts of Gatesville recently that interrupted my mail. You may have been a victim of the same event.

Temp, i had a pal in Texas who was brutally beaten, taken to hospital and the prison didnt bother notifying anyone, not his family, no one.

So NOTHING surprises me with Texas
