First letter to third.

Just a few days ago I went to check my mail and long behold I seen someone wrote back. I was quite happy about this. That was till I opened it and read it.
It was quite x-rated and highly suggestive about sending this person funds for this and that. I can't begin to understand what it's like for someone who is behind bars but I can only go off of videos and such that Iv'e been watching on youtube. Not saying that all places are like that, but it gives me a little vision into it. So, i kindly sent this person 5 bucks, just to help them out and I explained to this person [sorry for not giving gender or other info trying to keep some things private] i explained that I couldn't do anything more than that, Funds are tight for me as is and the reply I got was quite strange asking me why I couldn't do more or something like that. So, I wrote this person and explained that I was no where in my life ready for any sort of romantic level of a relationship that I was/am healing from a horrid break up, so the next letter this person sends is again x-rated and highly suggestive, So I wrote back on jpay to make it faster and explained that I wasn't interested in romantic relations all I can offer is kind and honest friendship but it's been rough to get that point across, not sure if I should cross this one off the list and continue on or what not. Now! the next two letters I got in were the sweetest letters and the over all tone was very heartfelt and they didn't bring up jpay or money for this or money for that. I believe I just ran into one apple that I'm not ready to bite into while I can admire and tend to the ones who don't plan on running me for the bank and more. Taking things in strides a day at a time.

I'm also new at this, so what I can give is just a small perspective on it. I believe I sent out maybe 18+ hand written letters to people, but this one person who was the first I got a letter from the whole thing was highly sexual in nature even though I gave no sign in my writing that I was interested in this person that way. I ended up getting another letter in from them and again I'm just going to say it, he kept dropping big hints for me to give him money so he could have a coke and chips while he wrote, at the end he added anytime you can , can you send me a few dollars so I can buy snacks and stuff. I did re-write him back on jpay and a hand written letter letting him know my intentions were never to lead him into that as I wrote to be kind to open up a friendship to show a little light, but he went way left field on me. Honestly with everything in life there are going to be good apples an not so good apples, it's up to your gut feeling on everything if they came off a certain way write em and let them know where you stand and where you're coming from, If they don't like it save your stamp for someone who does, I so didn't mean that in a bad way. Hope this helps, I just got an email from another person which was super kind and thoughtful, maybe one day I'll be ready for something serious but as I told em I'm open for friendship.
