I might slightly out of topic..(I don't,I guess)
Pro-DP or anti-DP whatever, one should not gave her/him a name with disgrace because she/he is writing a person in Death Row.
Hi illusionist,I personally don't tag any one with a name,be nice to me I'll give you my last penny,be mean to me and will be mean back, ( not doghouse mean ) I personally can't write d/w inmates,I'm not strong enough mentally for that,I take my hat off to people that can ( moxie is 1 I'm sure there are others ) and they have my respect. For me knowing I could never change that persons out come would be a personal nightmare,I know a letter makes all the difference but I just can't,sorry, lots of love
I agree Stu...Im def not strong enough but I would love to in a way.
People shouldnt have labels but in this society we do label people. I have to admit iv done it myself. Its those women who are for want of a better word idiots which is why Mox and others has been given that name...its sad.
Treat others as you would like to be treated
Yes its sad but people Like moxie ( and the others ) I have great respect for
oh, no worries. i've learned to embrace the moniker and joke about it.
i even started a group.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion. -Albert Camus
The media has sooooo much to blame for this (as they do most things). If we weren't constantly told about this woman marrying this DR inmate and how pathetic she is on the news, magazines or Jerry Springer, then society probably wouldn't feel so negatively. I mean yes, there'll always be haters and people will always have different opinions on things, but isn't that what makes the world work? If we all felt the same way about everything, how boring we would be.
I have no idea what my opinion on DR is..sometimes I think it's horrible and outdated but other times I think someone may really deserve what they get, for the crime they have commited. In America, it seems it's a sentence given out way too easily. If u have the strength and will and courage to befriend a DR inmate, all the power to you
