Even though I am new to being a ppal I have quickly learned the virtue of patience waiting for my mail, which makes it all the more exciting when I do get some That said I have not had anything in a couple of months (since late April, early may) from my ppal in Chowchilla CCWF and she has mentioned on several occasions the mail room is really bad due to staffing, budgeting etc.

I was just wondering if anyone has got recent mail from Chowchilla or has info on the current mail situation..just to keeping me going while I wait.

I received a letter from my PP who's in Chowchilla last Monday (23rd July). She had sent it out on the 11th and I live in Asia, so it was relatively quick. However, it took my letter 3 weeks to get to her.

I've heard the mail time over there is inconsistent and can sometimes take quite a while in and out.

Thanks for the heads up Juventinean, I knew it was something like that but was unsure it I was the only one due to the fact I am outside of the USA.

Not got recent mail but I've been able to send envelopes, so long as they are clear, to my friend at CCWF.
