People in the UK cannot obtain money orders for use in the US. If you can't use Jpay to send money, you will need to find someone in the US that you trust to make the payment for you.

"This has been a few years past,not sure if rules changed". I sent a money order inside letter and all letters were opened infront of thee inmate.l by the person who delivers the letters(mail) to the cells. The staff is given the MONEY ORDER, and they apply the money then to the inmates account. The money order (is taken out infront of the inmate) so he knows it was in the envelope, as well he/she sees the amount sent $"s who from also, before taken to accounting for deposit. Be sure to place inmates name and inmate number after his name on the money order.

I am in the UK i have use WU before? that is not right i have sent money on line.

I am afraid to say that I still can't send my pal money via WU despite calling them twice and calling the prison direct to make sure that I had the correct information. So, I am afraid it is by snail mail for me, huh. Longhair, thank you babes, I have a JPay account which I can send money to my pal on DR in Nevada, such a simple process unlike WU, but I truly appreciate all your help guys. Nette x

i'll tell you one, I write to someone in dodge correctional institution Wisconsin and I use kitesender to send money, just type it in on google and the website will come up! You have a list on there as long as your arm for all the prisons in Wisconsin
