4. Charlie and the inmates’ factory

For a couple of hours I went through a bunch of web sites proposing inmates ads.
As a stranger, I’m upset about trying to write as correctly as I can and I’m very careful of the meaning of words. I was surprised that some of these sites treated female inmates such as “babes”, “dolls”, “chicks” most of the times added by “behind bars” or “in jail” and so on…
Those are women, female inmates; someone’s daughters or mothers. They deserve to be treated as human being first regardless what they did, what was their choice in their walk of life. Nevertheless, they had put their ads and that’s the most important whatever the domain name is. But there is some kind of understatement here that says these women are disposable flesh, take your pick. I can’t agree with that.
On another one, there were a dozen of inmates’ ads; this site had a bonus: a list of 20 Q and A. The first questions were quite normal to ask: “How many children do you have? Have you any brothers and sisters?... Ok that could be helpful to know someone.
And then the killing questions: If you were in the adult business what will you choose as your stage name? When was the last time you had sex/ pleasured yourself ? What will you do if you found 20 000 dollars?
You could say that answers are not mandatory, I agree. But let’s turn table, will you or not answers those questions if you got any chance to gain a pen pal or at least have someone interested in you enough to drop you a line? I’m not saying that the inmates are desperate to this point, I’m just spotting the fact that once again, these women are mistreated, and underestimated.
Last example, I came across a list of more than a hundred inmates, choose one that matches my criteria (will tell you about that later)-, and I was just about to start copying her address when I realize that the site wasn’t updated since 2009!!! Besides I was about to initiate contact with an inmate that has been released in 2006!!!
Then I finally find WAP. Clear, precise, responding to all I was waiting for, regularly updated and with a community that appears me willing to go in the same direction. It was about time, I was close to give up. Ok let’s browse the thing to find my future pen pal friend…
To be continued...
