"Never procrastinate" that's my motto.- my second one i must confess, my first is "Always with a cup of coffee -.Anyway, here i am, in front of an all new blanked google page. Keywords: writing to an inmate - it's important to spot the fact that i have first done my research in french -.
First hit: a kind of "craiglist" look alike, first deception, excerpt:
"we provide you an address to write to, according to your wishes, (age, sex, interests) ... please sign in, it will only cost you 35 euros! (more or less 45 bucks).
Welcome to the jungle, i thought. No choice of a specific person to write to; randomly choosen out of a poor list of few interests; expensive fees and other things i don't need to mention:Next!
I finally found a french site called "All together against death penalty" that have some inmates addresses worlwide.
At this point i've got no preconceived ideas on who i was willing to write to except on one thing: a female inmate.
Out of a hundred names, five females. So it's going to be simple, i thought.
Two of them were too old in consideration of my rank of age, one doesn't want mail from outside U.S.
Among the two that were left, one's sentence had been commutated to life, and the other have been in prison for 12 or 13 years already and could be executed anytime.
Mother nature is a talented one, she reminds me that i was upon to much coffe and urges me to take a break, before i took any decision:
which one was i going to choose, Mrs X or Mrs Y, Both why not...
To be continued
