Well it's been about a week, I know these things take time haha. I guess I'm just a little impatient because I've wanted to do this for so long and now that I finally am...I just want it to happen quickly lol. I'm just getting excited! I'm just scared that I won't get a replay at all. Oh well, I'm sure that I'll make some great friends on this site and maybe make a few pen pals while I'm at it. The worst thing that could happen is nothing, then I'd just be where I started right? Haha.

I thought maybe today to start a blog here on this site. I really don't tell to many people about my pen-pals. A few close friends know what I do and how close I have become with those that I have written too. I even write to men and women that I have known in recovery programs locally that are now incarcerated. I have even visited them in prison if it isn't to far. So...Last night, I became a member. I write my first letter and hope to hear back soon. I think this site is amazing and it's a great thing to do. Everybody seems to write off all these inmates as horrible people. Truth is, they're human beings too and being lonely is never a good thing, no matter where you are. I'm always up for meeting new people, from all different walks of life. I'm just happy that I finally did this, I've wanted to for years now and it feels great that I actually have now....
