I know you've been at this WAY longer than me, but it seems like such a risk they're taking pulling this stunt when they didn't even act like they found something. It would be more understandable if they PLANTED something and took all his privileges away, but to say they found nothing and still go on doing all this.
You said sometimes you have to take action. Have you considered going above the Warden's head? Whoever is in charge of all the prisons? Commissioner or something? I'm probably too much of a rabble rouser and I'd probably make it worse than it started out.
I feel for you. |
There is just this dirty game these inmates are playing with shooting these i60's to get one another in trouble and they piss the administration off more when they don't find things on the alleged person and they make their life hell to try and get them to talk or admit to something they never did. Such as the case here.
As of this morning he was placed back into population, his property was already sent home and he was never given a case... there was nothing to give him a case for.
His family, (to whom I am very close with) have followed the proper grievance channels which is what prompted his release back to population.
There was not one thing in his property and not one officer could say they ever saw him do what he was 'supposed to be doing'.
They pulled his phone calls and found nothing there either. They even contacted me to ask me if he had ever asked me for money or to do any favors for him. I told them to get bent... he has only asked for letters, that is it.
It annoys them or did annoy them that his family were asking all of the right questions, and they could not pin anything on him.
I've arranged a visit next month to see him. His visitations will resume then.
They had a panel of people interrogating him as if he had committed a major crime. He did good. He told them "I don't know what you want me to tell you, and I don't know what you're talking about. I go to work, write family, do my work-out, go to bed and repeat. I just want to do my time and go home."
The questioning got harder and harder and he just told them "I don't know what you're talking about. You didn't find anything so you need to keep looking for who is really doing this ****, but it isn't me."
There was nothing there. With chances for parole looming over his head, he isn't going to do anything to catch a case, not even attempt to mess his chances up.
