It sounds like your PP is between a rock and a hard place, showyourpride. But, my gut feeling is that it will only get worse, if it is ignored. Have you considered writing to the warden, yourself? That way, she (the warden) will know that someone on the "outside" is watching, who will be able to go up the chain-of-command, if need be.

I know that I have had successes by writing to Texas prison officials, without any retribution. I seriously doubt that their cooperation was done out of the kindness of their heart, but rather out of fear of publicity if they didn't respond correctly. It may be a long shot, but talk it over with your PP. It may be worth the risk, to her.
