I have a couple pen pals and a few have been asking about my involvement in environmental activism, as i indicated that was something i am involved in. i am currently facing trial next month for breaking and entering and mischief over 5000 dollars, arising from my activism (long story short: protesting the oil sands and camped out on smoke stacks in an oil refinery for 24 hours to shut down operations). there is a chance that i, myself, could be incarcerated as a result. i want to tell my pen pals that this could happen and inform them of what has happened, but i was just wondering if that would get my mail flagged or something...? what do you think? and if i am found guilty but not incarcerated, but have that on my record, will i not be allowed to visit my pps?
