12 more months, well not that much longer, he will finally be free and home. A temp set back, sure that was very disappointing and frustrating though. Trying to take parental rights from him while inside? Your son Victor is still young himself, how can they forecast 18 yrs, he won't be a good father to his child in the future? Reality does suck but, faith does help pull things thru with determination. You are in my thoughts as well as Victor and family, I know if Jon can make it, so can Victor and be a good positive someday too. Somethings Victor will not be able to change, and he needs to adapt to that, yet, many things he will be able to change with faith and heart. Blessings to you all and stick with us too.
