Default Re: Inmate To Inmate Correspondence

I find it unfair that their is certain regulations to follwo on inmate to inmate correspondence. What is the big deal? I would understand if the inmate is a gang member or even affiliated with gangs, then those shouldn't have inmate to inmate correspondence. Not all inmate are gang members or even thinking about doing something bad when wanting to write to another inmate at another prison. And for punishing them if mailroom finds out what is going on... thats messed up. At least 3 months in the hole. Not 6 months. That is so ridiculous. Unnecessary punishment. All for a letter from another inmate. And if it happens again the punishment (6months) could be higher. Why? If the inmate is a gang member, then fine do what is right. But not all inmates are gang members so all inmates shouldn't be treated as gang members or bad. Inmates lives are already bad as it is, and for one simple letter they could be punished. Ridiculous.
