It certainly would not work in all cases. I am fortunate enough that nobody tries that nonsense with my husband. I think a part of that has to do with how much I actually do for the prison where he is, and how active I am in functions and organizing them. Which does give us an advantage.
It is sad and unfortunate that someone is doing this to your son. I hope he is wise enough to do his time and not allow them to suck him into anything that could effect his stay there.
