One point rarely made is the rights of the taxpayors. It costs alot to lock people up forever, and causes additional costly problems for thier families.

Would some who pays taxes really be willing to write the check for every offender who gets three strikes. Would people in hard times be willing to give up social benifits to have every 3 strikes your out offender locked up.

I tired of having the value of the dollar destroyed by uncontrolled spending and borrowing.
