I totally agree about the jurors russ....my mouth dropped when I read that. Then you read about some parents who are alcoholics and let their child starve to death because they were incapable of taking care of him, and they get probation. It infuriates me, but I don't have any plausible ideas how to correct the system without creating an even worse nightmare. Maybe LawDog has some insight into this. I'd like to hear franknfree's take on this too. This is such a tough problem to deal with.
