I am told that the US Supreme Court handed down a decision some time ago regarding the rules that state DOC's are allowed to impose upon inmates.

From what I can gather it was a very definitive decision and was originally related to whether or not an inmate could "advertise" for Pen Pals...but it was written so broadly that it reflects on many other rules.

I have tried a number of different ways to find this decision but without success.

Does anyone here know of that ruling or where I can find Supreme Court decisions without the decision number or the name of those involved in the action...ie: Joe vs Texas DOC.?
