Thank you for reading my profile.  Other than what you've seen about me with my stats, I will tell you what I can about me in this short space. 

Since coming to prison, I have learned a new way of thinking that has helped me change.  First of all, I came to believe that God had a purpose for me.  There was no way I could've continued on the path I was on.  Then, about 8 years ago, I was taught to paint by an old man who was in here.  Now I pass that on to others in the same way he did to me.  Around the same time, I started studying languages.  I speak French and Spanish and am now learning ASL (American Sign Language).  The other big passion I have in here is the guitar.  I have been playing for a few years and while I'm not the greatest, I try to get better every day.  I admit that I wasted a good portion of my life prior to coming here, but now I'm trying to do something good for a change!

I don't know if there is much more about me that I can generally speak of, but maybe I'd like to say that I enjoy talking to people.  Being in here tends to isolate us.  I don't know why you've come to this site, or what it is you're looking for.  One of the biggest reasons I have, is that this place is extremely lonely and it's easy to lose sight of who you are and to be in here without people of significance in it.

All of this is hard to explain in a brief cover like this without revealing more about me, so if you want to know more, you'll have to write to find out.  All I ask is that you be honest and I'll do the same.
