First off, I would like to thank you in advance for your time and I appreciate you reading my bio.

My name is Meagan Adams.  I’m currently serving a LIFE sentence for murder.  A crime that was committed with 2 other codefendants.  A murder that one of my codefendants openly admitted to doing.  I would like to openly share more information concerning my case, but there are so many details and considering my written ad is limited, I will make it brief. 

I will inform you that my case was a high profile case, and I’m sure you have access to certain information the Internet gives pertaining to my case.  In the midst of me and my 2 codefendants planning to run away, we realized we needed a car.  We decided to take my grandmother’s.  The situation turned ugly when my codefendant killed her in the process.  Even to this day, I still can’t believe that he went to that extreme.  He received a LIFE sentence as well.  My other codefendant received only a 15 year sentence. 

I don’t feel I was properly represented considering I had a court appointed attorney.  I’ve been here for 9 years and I finally found the courage to ask for help.  I was young and naïve.  I do take responsibility for my part in this case, but I feel my sentence was extreme.  I was a child and since then I have grown and realized so much.  I have so many goals.  I have so much that I want to do with my life, but I just need someone who will take a chance on me.
