SEEKING A CIVIL LAWYER ON HEALTH MATTERS
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Mr. Calvin Walker, an inmate at Camp-J, here at the Louisiana State Prison of Angola, Louisiana. My matter is about my health care treatment for my eyes due to the fact I am diagnosed with “cornea coma”. Therefore I am seeking a civil lawyer that is willing to do a contract after he or she looks into this matter concerning my eyes.
I was diagnosed with “cornea coma” in both of my eyes, a vision impairment. I can barely see and am on the verge of losing my sight permanently due to the fact I’m not getting the proper medical treatment outside the prison. My eyes are constantly hurting and my vision is getting blurrier.
I have seen numerous eye doctors outside of the prison and I have been given the run around but according to the medical records it was documented a surgery will not be conducted because of the length of my stay, here in prison, due to my life sentence that I’m serving so my constitutional rights have been violated under the 8th Amendment due to the fact I’m being deprived from getting the proper medical treatment toward my eyes. I’m being discriminated against; therefore it would be greatly appreciated if someone can help me out on this matter about my health care.
