Hi y’all,

My name is Desiree. As you know I’m incarcerated. I’ve learned my time here on earth is precious to me. My motto is: Live, love, laugh. I do my best to apply my absolute favorite quote from Mark Twain to my life daily: “Live like there’s only today, love like you’ve never been hurt and dance like nobody’s watching”.

I’m an optimist, goofy, outgoing and spontaneous. For those of you familiar with True Colors, I’m an orange.

My passion is dancing: Tap, jazz, ballet. My dream is to have my own studio and teach. I’m extremely spiritual, not overly religious. My place of serenity is the great outdoors. I enjoy hiking, camping, drawing, writing and listening to music of all types: Alternative, rock, country, classical and blue grass.

I’m health conscious and a vegetarian. I love to run and experience yoga.
