My Dreamcatcher

I lay awake
Eyes wide open
Yet closed

Envisioning kind words
Along with a gorgeous smile
Sure has been, awhile
With an attractive style

Eyes wide open

Mental edge very steep
Immersed in solitude
Oh so deep
Never will I choose to leap
I’m bound to find that smile
I yearn to keep

I lay awake
Eyes wide open
Yet I dream

Wishing to catch her…
