I know it's my fault
put all the blame on me
I should've done things different
& now that's clear to see
I loved you too much
& held on too tight
It scared you away
like a bump in the night
but I'm far from a monster
a ghoul or a ghost
was it finding love or losing it
that scared you the most
I came into your world and gave you something to feel
after I left
it all became too real
I'm sorry.
I am
You have to believe
So for loving too much
This is my Apology
