FAITH

Dear Friends, it brings me great joy to tell you that the Jacob Blackmon story, "Captured By Love and Forgiveness" is finally in print! What a powerful testimony of the love of Jesus Christ and his ability to bring change, healing, and forgiveness even in the most desperate of times. Imagine being a child of fifteen years of age, and imagine yourself being thrust into an adult prison at fifteen for a crime you did not commit. This is the story of a boy who came into manhood in some of the most dangerous prisons in Texas only to find that he had not been captured by man, but by a loving and forgiving God. As Jesus does with all His children, our God has turned Jake's misfortune into an opportunity for ministry in the most unlikely place. To hear more of Jake's story please go to http://justiceforjacobblackmon.org/ or to purchase a copy of "Captured by Love and Forgiveness: The Jacob Blackmon Story" please go to http://www.xulonpress.com/bookstore bookdetail.php?PB_ISBN=9781498440639&HC_ISBN= . We look forward to getting this testimony out to as many people as possible and hope that you will partner with us in sharing the awesome love of Christ through Jacob's testimony!

BODY OF CHRIST

As being born again believers in Jesus Christ we have put on a new identity that is not of anything we can make or decide. We didn't choose God but he chose us. Paul described this new identity as a body full of many members, but with Jesus being the lead, that through Him, he will lead us and guide us. Now, in this body, we have many members, white, black, brown, all together working together to bring more people to this body. We all have a part to play in this area to bring people in. We don't do the something to bring people in but we're all working together with the same Holy Spirit, with the same purpose to bring people into the Kingdom of God. Do you know your part? Do you know where your active in this body? It's only through the Holy Spirit that you will find this... Find your place and your part, because we need you to be a hand, foot, nose, ear, everyone is important in the body of Christ. Know that all this is held together by love and serving one another. It's through the body of Christ we find our strength, and the source of that strength is God's grace that we have in Jesus Christ. Always remember that everything we do, we do it all in love... the love of Jesus Christ.
