MY LEGAL MATTERS AND QUESTIONS
My active defense is self defense and defense of others. The court, Polk City, Minnesota refused to allow me to tell the Jury the assailant I shot was a convicted felon. Because he is a convicted felon he should not have had firearms. The reason was prejudice to the State. I shot him with his gun. But the State WAS allowed to show my record to cast a negative light on me. I DO NOT HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD. What the prosecution used was my discharge papers from the military, pointing out that I was trained with firearms and USED MY MARKSMANSHIP as a tool to prosecute; portraying me as a trainer killer, prejudicing me. I have been told there is legal precedence on this matter and it is illegal for a State to act in such a grossly overzealous, malicious matter. I have not found the cases. Are there any lawyers or law students or Jag Officers or Vets or NRA who can help me pursue justice? Do it for the Greater Good of our country. Don’t allow prosecutors to use as evidence the military records and honorable service against men and women who volunteer to serve our Nation; especially in completely non-related matters. I thought the Privacy Act covered this type of thing. I took the stand in my own defense. I have no “defense” for serving my country.
