Some people meet each other at the supermarket...something gets knocked off a shelf while an unsuspecting stranger lends a helping hand. The truth is they even cause that mild disturbance on purpose sometimes. It's just their semi-weird attempt at meeting you. And then there's the ol' conversation starter about which piece of fruit or vegetable to choose? I want you to know that I really did try to talk the guards into letting me go to the supermarket near you. They just weren't buying the whole "I'll be right back" thing.
Anyway. Hello. I'm Jason. And by now, you know two things about me. My name. And the fact that I've watched way too many chick flicks. (smiles) I wasn't always this way. I'm not just talking about my vast knowledge of chick flicks. But also of a past that I'm neither ashamed or proud of. I don't even remember half of it. It's the emotions from that time that I remember the most. Paranoia, excitement, addiction. It really is an addiction. After awhile in the game you become addicted to the excitement and sense of uncertainty because any day could be your last. Cops are watching you. Enemies are watching you. And knowing that...it's a weird kind of rush.
I think we all ask ourself at one time or another--I wonder what would've happened if? They say the best questions always have more than one answer. I like to believe that I could've been that good guy you met at the supermarket. But I'll be just fine if I can be that good guy who used to be bad who meets you right here on WriteAPrisoner.com.
