To whom this may concern:

First and foremost, before I continue, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this brief notation.

For some time I’ve been incarcerated and, being in my current situation, it can be lonely at times.  The reason for me posting my picture is because there’s a saying; a picture is worth a thousand words.  Hopefully, when you look into my eyes, you’ll see the sincerity and despite my current situation I continue to keep a smile on my face because it can only get better in life.

I know that I might be down now and, at times forgotten, but I continue to work towards my freedom while holding strong with God.

I enjoy reading, writing poems, exercising and watching TV amongst other things.

I’m seeking potential new friends, someone I can correspond with freely, who enjoys my conversation and vice versa.  I’m seeking a genuine woman, who knows what she wants in life, a woman who has a sense of humor, who isn’t judgmental and open-minded to the idea of making a new friend through unconventional circumstances.

Please know age is just a number.  Race isn’t a factor because I’m Black and Dominican.  Religion isn’t a factor either.  I strongly believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Beauty comes from within.

So, if you’re willing to give friendship a try, hopefully you can write me a few lines.
