Life has a way of creating humbling experiences to teach us our lessons. These years in prison have taught me how to turn a negative into a positive. I’ve earned a college degree and accomplished many personal goals in spite of my situation. Now I’m ready to reach out to other people out there in the free world!
I want to find friends that will help me stay out of prison and build a future for myself when I’m released. I have a lot to offer a friendship. I’m a loyal, thoughtful man’s man. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy others who do as well. I don’t take myself or life too seriously but I do have strongly held convictions. I know what I want out of life now and how to get it. All I need is for the State to give me a second chance.
I know there is someone out there who is starved for some intelligent conversation or just looking for someone interesting to write to the old fashioned way! So here I am, letting you know I’m waiting to hear from you. I love meeting new people and I think writing letters is a great way to do that. Writing out your thoughts on paper is an intimate, safe, expectation free way of connecting with other people. Prison is a lonely, constantly negative place but there are some good men here who still have something to offer.
Sincerely,
Ronald Adkins
