To The Future Queen of my Heart,
Have you ever been broken hearted, misunderstood or misled to believe a lie? Have you had your trust betrayed, your loyalty disrespected or your unconditional love taken advantage of? Well, the essence of these very acts is not new to me and as a result they caused me a lot of pain, heartache and disappointment, but most of all a state of loneliness over time. In spite of all that I have endured on my journey of life. I never gave up on the desire to love again, to laugh with my mate, to cherish the trueness of a conversation held with my mate or the feeling of completion a man feels when he finds his missing piece to his puzzle of life (his rib).
I now realize that there can never be a testimony without first being a test so in hindsight I have become grateful for all the obstacles and adversities that have shaped me into the individual that is currently writing to you.
Jesus Christ has become the center and love of my life. To be exact, His love found me without me even looking for it. It was like a strong wind overtaking my heart. Just like a wind you can’t see it but something inside can feel it and it just feels so right. Christ has given me a purpose for living, speaking and to love again. And with every breath I take I find my joy reaching new heights.
Once Christ came into my heart I could not deny the power nor could I run from agape love. Agape love is a Greek word, which describes a love that is based on deliberate choice from the giver rather than the worthiness of the person receiving this love. True enough, this type of love goes against all human inclination. It is a giving, selfless, accept nothing in return type of love.
Jesus has become my healer, deliverer, comforter, joy, peace, hope and everything else. I now realize that He is the way and every relationship that is not built upon Him is like the man who built his house upon the sand. It will not last!
His death and resurrection is the only way to the Father. Your wisdom, knowledge and your eyes of understanding can only be fulfilled through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
