Do you consider yourself special? Well you are special, and no, not that kind of special (smile). I am talking about truly one of a kind special! It takes a down-to-earth, kind-hearted, unbiased, wonderful woman to write a prisoner.
To look past the many mistakes, the tattoo’s, the serious look, the scars, and say now, there is a man worth getting to know! I am no saint, not smooth and not gifted with words; I am plain spoken. I am rough around the edges, got many scars, inside and out. I’ve been inside this prison cell many lonely years feeling unloved and cut off from companionship.
I fall asleep at night to dream of summer days filled with pearl white clouds, green grass and flowers shimmering and dancing on the breeze! Only to awaken to gray walls and bars made of steel, dreading the day. Will I get a new scar today? Will I get a new tattoo to bleed away the pain?
Or just may, I will get a letter from you; filled with faith, hope joy, with beauty and a smile! Wonderful words saying, “I want to get to know you Wesley. Share in your life, learn, laugh and listen!”
And signed at the very end, your new special friend (smile)
