I’m Hispanic and American Indian. My religion…I believe in the Holy Bible. I pretty much try to let it interpret itself. One thing the bible says about God is that He is the “fountain of living waters”. Jeremiah 17:13.
As for my crime, I did that when I was 15 years of age. I was real stupid. I didn’t think about the consequences of my actions in 1990. All I really “cared” about was getting/doing more drugs.
I’ve been in prison for almost 20 years. I am presently 34 years of age(2009). I’ve been trying to better myself during my present incarceration, mentally, physically, spiritually, which has seemed like a slow process. During my time in prison I’ve gotten 3 vocational trades, my GED and around 45 college credit hours. Plus I’ve read some books from Focus on the Family, dealing with marriage and family, which have helped me.
I draw from time to time and I write poems here and there. As for getting out of prison I can get out…whenever…
I like learning good things because I feel that makes me into a better person.
Books, carbon paper, blank envelopes can only be sent to me through the Book Store or through the Office Supply Store. And I can receive writing tablets but they can’t have staples in the binding. Write to me if you wish to send a financial donation.
