My name is Ricky Davis and I’m hoping to meet new friends. I enjoy sharing with people so I not only welcome fruitful conversations but I would also appreciate someone taking the time to write me. I’m a simple man who loves and appreciates the simple things in life. Of course I have my faults and I admit I’ve made more than my share of poor decisions in life; however, I’m just trying to turn it all into a positive and hope to someday have the opportunity to give the best of myself. Through the fires of my trials and tribulations, I have come to acquire an understanding that most people never reach, praise God. My advice to anyone who would listen would be: Put much thought into how you should live your life because it is a precious gift that won’t last long; don’t waste time worrying about things in which you have no control; consider yourself in the unfavorable position of others and do more to help people; never stop loving and die not without knowing your creator.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing and running. Of course I’m aware of my spiritual needs and I value my relationship with God, family and friends. I love children and animals, my mother and father are my heroes. If you would like to know more about who I am or why I’m in prison, see hastag #FreeRickyDavis or visit my petition drive @Change.org, Ricky Davis 2005 “A Hurricane Katrina Story”.
