Anybody who has questioned how, exactly, their life has become the way it is – can relate to where I find myself now. Fortunately I am ever the optimist, and I know that sometimes the most beautiful flower can blossom out of the mud.
I’ve been told time and again that I have an old soul, based on my profound love and respect for art, music and a few other interests of mine. Included are: Charcoal drawing, painting, making clothes, playing the guitar (6 string and bass) as well as the stand up Jazz bass. I adore the outdoors and can’t wait to travel. And I do believe there’s no feeling in the world like riding a Harley Davidson on a sunny summer day. I love the beach and I hate wearing shoes. Being raised to be outgoing, open-minded and very optimistic I have a bright outlook for the future. Hopefully I’ll be able to attend college for art and mechanics upon my release.
Since I was sentenced to 2 ½ - 10, my earliest parole date is coming up March 30, 2011. But being in prison since the fall of 2008 I find myself reaching out for support and hope to hear from someone who’s interested in helping me walk the rest of my time away. Age, race or background makes no difference to me. All that matters is your heart. So if you’re interested I encourage you to write. I’m anxiously awaiting you.
Yours,
Carrie Anne
