Prison has always been a part of my life, especially over the past 16 years. That’s because I allowed drugs and alcohol to get a strong hold on me, negatively affecting my behavior and attitude towards life and everybody I came into contact with.
This past February 27, 2016 I celebrated 3 years of clean time and today have never felt better. Though I still have some bad days I can at least tell myself while looking at the man in the mirror, I’m clean.
I’ve attended several AA meetings and have always heard that the geographical cure doesn’t work because you ultimately still have yourself. But as a believer, Jesus Christ can remove any obstacle in your life if you ask Him.
I want to change, people, places and things and meet new people. I enjoy doing an array of things: fishing, riding four wheelers, hiking, bowling, going to the movies or just plain spending time with friends, maybe playing a board game or something.
The plan is to start my new life in the Pompano Beach, Florida area; first staying at Pennicle Sober Living and becoming a member of the Ministry of Reconciliation. Church life is going to play a big role in my life as I’m very involved in the work of Christ. I’m looking for like minded friends who do the same and want the same in life.
If you’re able to assist me in securing employment, I’m looking for a legal assistant/paralegal position, entry level.
