Hi,

My name is Jerry and I am placing my ad in hopes of finding new friends. I love to write and I love good conversation.

I made a mistake, and I have learned a great deal from it. Since I’ve been incarcerated, I have taken every available opportunity to right my wrongs and better myself.

I, first, earned my GED and went on to earn two associate degrees in college: one in business management and the other in theology. I have been involved in, plus facilitated, several self-help groups. I am also a member of Toastmasters International.

I am an easygoing, caring, and compassionate person. I’m outgoing, outspoken and I have a great sense of humor, I have a positive outlook, and I try to see the glass as half full.

I like to read and write, I like music, movies and dancing. I love the outdoors and I like to travel. I also like to work out, I snow and water ski, I love to cook and I am a beast in the kitchen.

I do not take life for granted and I live every day to the fullest. I am a cancer survivor and for that I am thankful. In 2009, I had cancer surgery, plus six months of chemotherapy. Today, I am healthy and cancer-free. I thank God every day for the life I have been given. I believe I have a wonderful, prosperous life ahead upon my release.
