Hello,

My name is Eric and I am posting this ad in search of happiness, friendship and maybe even romance.

We wear a mask daily that tells everyone we are a rock, nothing can hurt us.  We do this because emotions other than anger or aggression are not accepted. It’s perceived as weakness.  At times I find myself completely alone behind these walls, surrounded by fake people, which only serves to make me more lonesome.

I have a desire to reach out and connect with someone who can look past my imperfections, my mistakes and really see my true character.

Personally I am a sensitive type of guy.  I am loving and caring and I always seek the good out in people.  I love to laugh and make those around me feel comfortable.  I could settle for a long walk or a cup of coffee.

I came out to my family about a year ago and told them I was gay.  They have since then abandoned me – no visits, calls, mail, etc.  I have since then been all alone.  I hope to relocate somewhere to a new home, to a new life.  Somewhere I will be judged for who I am now, not who I was then. 

I spend a lot of my time trying to learn new things.  I enjoy music, books, poetry and anything educational.  My philosophy is the past is history and the future is a mystery.
