I'VE BEEN TO THE EDGE…

Every day I consider myself fortunate, not for my circumstances, we all know prison is nothing fortunate but that it's nothing permanent in my life and I'm soon to be released. I’m fortunate that even through the very worst circumstances I've never lost focus on what's important and that is friendship. Having good friends makes all the difference in the world and it starts with being a good friend.

A good friend is like good music, they both have the ability to make you laugh with joy or cry with the deepest, heartfelt emotion, to transform the worst circumstances into the very best with nothing but a touch…a touch that goes straight to the heart. Everyone has that certain song that, no matter what they’re doing, sends them back to a moment in time and nothing will ever change that, not the years, or the tears…nothing. I'm fortunate that I'm able to be that kind of friend and therefore have those kinds of friendships.

I hope that, when you read this, you associate it with something you to feel inside and decide to find out what other feelings we share. I'm looking forward to that.
