My name is Jimmy.  I am searching for a friend who can make me smile during these rough times.

I am 23 and I’ve been incarcerated since the age of 19.  The last three years I have spent in solitary confinement, deprived of sun and spend 23 hours a day in my cell.  I’m an open-minded individual who loves to laugh and hear what others have to say about their experiences. 

I’m searching for someone who is honest and loyal because loyalty is everything to me.  I seek someone who’s outgoing and who is not afraid to speak their mind. 

I have a lot of free time so during my down time I enjoy reading, working out and watching the occasional movie.  I listen to all genres of music but my three favorite types are R&B, oldies and country. 

I won’t be imprisoned forever and when all this is over and done with I’ll be searching for a new place to live and am hoping to travel.  I’m interested in getting to know you, to learn about your dreams and hobbies.  So if you want someone you can confide in, someone who will listen to you and make you smile, just remember – all you have to do is send me a letter to start out friendship.
