E.E. Cummings said it all when he stated "the most wasted of all days is the one without laughter."

It could be so easy to get caught up in the labels, to lose that special light in my eyes as there are times when it is tough and adversity is waiting on each corner. I just refuse to succumb. Despite my body being confined within these razor wire fences, my mind is free to roam where it will.

Knowing this is not all my life has to offer, I am curious to see where it shall lead. I'd like to be able to share my experiences with you.

Here's a sneak peek to who I am. Hopefully, I won't scare you away! I am known to be a brat at times. I do a lot of laughing yet my greatest joy comes from causing others to laugh. Contrary to my present environment, I am an outdoorsy person. I won't squeal at the sight of a bug.

Currently I work transcribing school books as well as leisure books for the blind. I plan to continue this line of work upon my release.

Enough talk about me, I am more interested in hearing from and about you. Don't worry about being shy or asking too many questions. My life is an open book so I have nothing to attempt to hide.

Well, until you pick up your pen, I won't know you're there. Once you do, you'll never be forgotten.
