Success may be the easiest of all occasions to write about, but where do you start when your world has been turned upside down and you’re sitting in prison? The lessons I have learned in life are many and have come at a very high price as I have grown and learned from my mistakes.
You might wonder how a nice young lady like me wound up in a place like this. If you really want to know all the details, I will be the lady-in-waiting for all inquiries. But to make a long story short, it involves the simplest of things, such as, not saying no. I wish I could turn time back and right all my wrongs to be the person I am now back then. Wishful thinking, I know.
People say good things happen to good people, but bad things happen to good people too. Every day is a challenge in here, and I would love to find someone who can help smooth over the rough edges with a little love, laughter and support, someone who is adventurous and likes the finer things in life.
One of my favorite quotes reads like this: “Failure is not the opposite of success. It’s a stepping stone to success.”
I’m ready for a change in my life and am willing to relocate for that special someone. I have a great heart and so much light to share. Take a chance and write.
